Q. How do I get started using Squash-Central.com to book a squash court?
A.

There are some initial steps that need to be completed in order to start using Squash-Central.com to book a squash court. Please read the following carefully as the steps you need to complete are slightly different depending on whether you are student, staff, or alumni and whether you are a new or returning Squash-Central user.

Join the LSE Squash Club

First you need to purchase a membership to the LSE squash club. This is done online through LSESU.com, LSE's Student Union website. You will need an @lse.ac.uk email address (alumni should see the FAQ for obtaining an @alumni.lse.ac.uk email address). Additional information can be found at http://www.lsesu.com/news/article/squash/126/.

Submit Membership Details to Squash-Central.com

After you have purchased your membership to the LSE squash club, you need to request that the membership policy be added to your Squash-Central.com account. If you are completely new to Squash-Central then you should visit the registration page. If you have an account from a previous year, simply login (or reset your password if you have forgotten it. You should only have one Squash-Central account so if you have used this service before then do not register again.

Then follow the links in My Account to submit a request for the membership policy to be added to your account. For example, current LSE students would request the "2011/12 Student" policy be added to their Squash-Central account while Staff and Alumni have separate policies in the request form. Squash-Central users who do not have an LSE club membership should request the "LSE Guest" policy which will allow them play against full members.

Wait for Approval from Captain

You will then have to wait for your request to be approved by the squash captain. Please be patient as it can take up to a few days for the captain to get around to reconciling the new membership requests (although it usually happens the same day). If your request has not been approved within 48 hours then open a Support Ticket to check that there isn't a problem.

Once your club membership details have been approved you should be sent a confirmation email and you will be able place squash court bookings. Note, if you have not purchased a squash club membership then your request will be declined. You must have paid for your membership before you submit a request for squash court privileges to be added to your Squash-Central account.
